The ultimate big-screen experience — the Xiaomi TV S QD-Mini LED 98 delivers cinema-scale 4K visually in your South African living room.

When 85 inches is not enough, the Xiaomi TV S QD-Mini LED 98 steps up as the centrepiece your home entertainment deserves. This colossal 98-inch QD-Mini LED display features 880 independent dimming zones — precisely controlling brightness and darkness across every region of the panel to deliver OLED-level pure blacks at 0.0001 nits alongside a dazzling 1200-nit peak brightness and a 12,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Every scene is rendered with breathtaking depth and detail, from the faintest shadow to the most brilliant highlight. For the discerning South African viewer who demands the very best in a 98 inch TV, this QD-Mini LED TV is in a class of its own.

Precision colour and contrast powered by Xiaomi’s Visual Engine.

Xiaomi’s multi-colour temperature reproduction technology and Vivid Colour Engine deliver professional-grade colour rendering with 94% DCI-P3 coverage and 1.07 billion colours, ensuring every frame appears true to life. The proprietary Global Dimming Engine predicts and applies optimal backlight strategies for every scene, reducing ghosting, flicker, and halo effects. The Deep Contrast Engine enhances image depth and clarity using a self-developed contrast database for content-specific optimisation. Ambient light and colour temperature sensors adjust the display in real time to match your room’s conditions. The result is a 4K TV that delivers vivid, accurate visuals whether you’re watching in broad daylight or a darkened room.

Silky-smooth motion built for gaming and fast-paced content.

A native 144Hz refresh rate ensures that every frame of 4K content is rendered with lossless clarity and zero judder. Activate Game Boost mode and the panel pushes to an effective 288Hz with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and AMD FreeSync Premium support, minimising input lag and screen tearing for competitive gaming. MEMC motion processing handles 4K content at up to 120Hz for stutter-free sport and action sequences. Three HDMI 2.1 ports with CEC, ALLM, and VRR support — two of which handle 4K at 144Hz, with eARC on HDMI 2 — make this smart TV the centrepiece of any high-performance entertainment setup.
